Membership

Pineland relies on members to support her ministry and to carry out much of the work required to help accomplish her mission. It’s a high calling that takes hard work—but it’s also the most rewarding work. Members of Pineland are followers of Christ, baptized, committed to the church family, and use their gifts to serve the church family and community for the glory of God.

Here are the steps if you are interested in becoming a member of Pineland:

Step 1: Getting to Know Pineland

Attend Getting to Know Pineland. This is a Saturday morning class taught by one of our Elders to show what Pineland is all about. Contact the office for information on future classes and please sign up to attend our next Getting to know Pineland get-together.

Step 2: Discipleship

Work through 6 lessons of our discipleship handbook with one of our members to learn what we believe and how we function as a church.

Step 3: Testimony

Write and submit your testimony to the elders. For help on how to write a testimony, click HERE.

Step 4: Membership Interview

Meet with the elders to provide basic biographical information and recount God's converting work in your life.

Step 5: Congregational Affirmation

Upon the elders' recommendation and the congregation's affirmation, candidates will be welcomed into membership at our Sunday morning service as we celebrate the Lord's Supper.
