The purpose of Pineland Baptist Church is to reach our world through a Christ-centered, Bible-based ministry, with a Passion for God, and Compassion for others.

We believe the Music Department of Pineland assists the Church family in fulfilling this purpose in a variety of ways. Music helps to spiritually prepare people for the message, especially when the songs are geared to the sermon topic. We incorporate a range of styles - traditional hymns, modern hymns and choruses, Scripture songs, Scripture readings.

In the Music department we also provide individuals with the opportunity to express themselves in worship before God and the congregation. This is possible through involvement in Servants of the King (worship team), Choir, special music (vocalists and instrumentalists, children to adults), special occasion musicals (Easter, Christmas, Children's musical), sound board operators.

We believe we are accountable first to God and then to each other. May we make a joyful noise unto the Lord, with a servant's heart.
